Rescue Me ID: 16-06-25-00135Jack the Beanstalk (male)

Flat-Coated Retriever Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Most Cats
Personality: Very Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Meet Jack the Beanstalk. Jack is approximately 12 years old and weighs around 35 lbs. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and on preventative for heartworm and flea/tick. He is cat and dog friendly, unknown with small kids but would probably do well with respectful kids. He has been in rescue for only a short time but so far he has been a great boy. He is well behaved, quiet, mellow, and low energy but he LOVES his walks and is great on leash. He is crate trained and housebroken. He is great in the car and immediately lies down. He has puppy moments and will act like a goofball but he enjoys spending time on the couch. He is a very ... (Read More)easy boy to have around, great for first time adopters. To see more photos and updates, check out his Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/MeetMyBTRFosterDog/ If you are interested in learning more about Jack, please fill out an application on our website by copying and pasting the following link into your browser. http://www.brokentailrescue.org/adoption-application/ Jack is being fostered in Leominster, MA . "Like" Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook! NOTE: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. (Less)

I am just a baby and will not be ready for a forever home until mid-late July. I am probably a mix of Labrador Retriever and Flat Coated Retriever and a little Border Collie and will weigh about 50# more or less when grown. My breed mixes indicate I will be a good family dog, energetic, intelligent, easy to train, playful and friendly. I am happy and healthy and already have sweet dispositions, I am going to make my adopted family very happy. If you are interested in adopting me, please ask for an application from my foster mom at adrescue2014@gmail.com. Please note that: We cannot adopt out to a home where the adults work most of ...
